Um, not going to actually count, but maybe a hundred? Or more?

I own more than 100 pairs of shoes. no, I don't wear them all. i keep most of them in boxes as it's easier to store. 20 pairs isn't a lot of shoes, IMO.

I did purge my shoe wardrobe last year and donated about 30 pair of shoes that became too narrow as my feet became wider in the forefoot. One thing is that I am no longer willing to tolerate wearing uncomfortable shoes. I also tossed out shoes that the soles or footbeds were disintigrating as injection molded soles can wear out even without wearing them.

I am a gent also and my significant other has 2 walk in closest overrunneth with shoes.  I realize that shoes are important to woman and they need to keep their feet as comfy as possible while matching their outifts.

I can't imagine how much more space we would have with only 20 pairs.  You certainly have nothing to worry about.Smiley Happy

I live in a 4 season climate and am sure that more than 60 pairs of shoes live in my closet. Unlike men's wardrobe choices of long pants and shorts, women wear slacks of at least 4 different lengths in a variety of cuts, skirts and dresses in varying lengths, and shorts. There are also work, casual, active, social, and worship scenarios. This variety requires different shoes to fit the season, event, and clothing choice. A woman needs more than oxfords, tennis shoes, and a pair of sandals. Only 20 pairs...you are very fortunate to have found a resourceful partner.

I have some of my shoes in a bookcase in boxes, so I can tell you that you can easily fit 20 pairs of shoes in boxes in an area 36 inches by 32 inches on 3 shelves.

Interesting how many shoes fit in a bookcase.  I will have to try that this weekend.  I should go count how many are in the oven.  We do not cook and for some reason that  one areea where they are hidden from me (she thinks rofl).  Cat Wink

LOL this thread is funny. I bought 3 pairs in the last week ( not on QVC) and I've bought about 10 pairs of shoes this year.
