Re: Shoe Order in Plastic Bag - No Box?

@rms1954 I just got a new pair of Fly London boots in a brown pastebord shoe box.  I know these boots came out in the traditional yellow box with the picture on the end, because I just returned a defective pair in the regular box to another vendor.

Re: Shoe Order in Plastic Bag - No Box?

Frequently shoes and sneakers came on plastic bags, inside a box with other items I ordered.

I keep my shoes in mesh baskets ... to let let air circulate. I found that some shoes fell apart if I kept them in closed cardboard or plastic boxes. I guess it’s a temperature/humidity thing here.

@ALRATIBA I do the same! Where I live humidity is always an issue and it can do some damage.

@new nickname 4  Your suggestion was also a good one!

The thing about cardboard boxes is that bugs will find them appealing.....I don't want anything that makes my home more appealing to them lol

Re: Shoe Order in Plastic Bag - No Box?

I’d never store shoes in cardboard or plastic boxes. It is not good for the shoes and I do not want to attract bugs. Boxes get recycled.

I received one pair of sandals in a bag rather than a shoebox. They were Spenco brand and the bag seemed to be made of recycled material. I think there was a note explaining why they used a bag instead of a box. My other Spencos came in a box.
