I went to finish my purchase on a C Wonder bootie that is $132. The shipping is almost $12.00. It's standard shipping. They aren't tall boots. How do they justify that? They lost a sale and off to Nordstrom I go.

I know! I looked at a pair of boots here and noticed $11.95 shipping. So, if they don't fit, I'd be out that plus $8.95 return label (yes, that's the label cost for boots-I know because I just had to return a pair)

$21.00 try-on fee?

You gotta be kidding me!

That's why I don't buy shoes or boots from QVC anymore, even if I like them.  I've had to return some in the past and it's expensive to lose that kind of money, when they don't fit.  It's always a gamble.

I've even noticed variation within the same brand, so it's just not worth it to me, when there are so many other options.

I once went to a Clark's store to try on the exact same sandal QVC was going to have as a TSV, but at a better price.  Knew what size I needed so I ordered 2 from QVC and had to send them both back.  They were ridiculously over-sized and simply fell off my feet.  I put that on the return receipt but it made no difference.  Never again.

Gdog2015, Lucky you! We don't even have a Nordrstrom in this state, and I wish we did!

Hope you find some boots you love!

@happycat  Bon Ton, Boscovs and other sell Clark's and have great sales.  You probably won't have the choice in colors but I do not need more colors.  My colors last longer because they do not get worn as much.  I agree totally even the sizing on QVC shoes are no longer consistent.  I have access within an hour's drive to most everything that the Q sells and I can see size and quality before I purchase.

@Gram W

I was just going to mention Bon Ton!

They're new to me.

I wanted a pair of shoes from Michael Kors which I Googled. Bon Ton had them on sale, plus an extra 25% off sale (thru 11/2). They honor ShopRunner so shipping BOTH WAYS was not only free, but 2-day. Because we don't have this store in CA, there was no sales tax.

These shoes were $140.00 everywhere else but ended up costing me $59.11 at Bon Ton. I noticed they have lots of nice brands.

@Gram W, I do have a few stores around me that sell Clarks, they don't have a great selection, and if I do find a pair I like, good luck with them having it in my size. I just feel like we don't have that much to choose from in general, fashion wise.  It does make me appreciate vacations where Nordstroms, Macy's other stores like that exist. We do have a Dillards in a few other larger towns here, but the last few times I have been there, it seemed more geared for ether the younger women or the elderly.....

@gardensla

We don't have a Bon Ton either, but I have been looking at thier website. They do seem to have some very good deals! That was a sweet deal you got on the Michael Kors shoes!

Happycat01 we I actually don't have a Nordstrom in my town. Closest is 4 hours away but go online. They never charge shipping to send out or return. I have size 11 feet and Macy's refuses to sell any 11 other than boring shoes without style. So I order 4 or 5 pairs ata time and return the others and hope I can find one that fits. You will get it and return them before your credit card is even due if you have to do it that way. They pick up on front door. I worked in Nordies all through college and have never ground customer service that come close. QVC would actually make more money with a free rtn policy because of the customer retention.
