I just love the look of the sandals that come up high on the ankles. The bad news for me is I just can't stand the feel on my ankles. I'm so jealous of the ladies that can wear these shoes, .I've tried, but they drive me nuts. Anyone else have this issue ?

I love the look of them myself yet have never tried a pair on.  I know I would most likely be clawing at my ankles trying to get them away from my skin since I hate anything restrictive.  So I have not tempted myself by trying on.  I wonder if you have to train your ankles to go numb?

@QVCkitty1  I take the laces out of the top 1 or 2 holes and tie the bow lower down. I do the same w/ my sneakers.

I love gladiator sandals not the ones that go up the leg just a strap around the ankle.  I have two pairs of bare traps I got a few years ago and still wearing.  The secret is that the straps around the ankle have to be a good soft leather.  I just bought a pair from Earth and they were cute but the straps were like plastic and had to send back.  The shoe was so uncomfortable.
