I ordered this tote when it was new, however returned it when I read the reviews concerning cracking of handles, etc. I thought it was too expensive to take a chance on keeping. I've now read posts which said the problems with the bag were resolved. I am considering re-ordering. Has anyone ordered lately and if so, does the bag seem to be holding up ok? TIA

I ordered the ostrich and aubergine when it was the TSV. The aubergine was cracked upon arrival and I left a review stating such. I think I was the first person to mention this in the reviews. I carried the ostrich to see how it would wear and loved it so much, but sent both back before the extended holiday return period expired and asked for replacements becasue I read on another thread that the cracking had been fixed. The ostrich was out of stock so I was issued a refund and the aubergine replacement also arrived already cracked, and this was Jan. 19th and I sent back again requesting a refund. So, If they have fixed the issue, I think they are still selling the defective ones to get rid of that inventory. Keep reading the reviews to see what other more recent purchasers are saying. I hate to give up on this bag as I really loved it, but I just can't settle on inferior quality.
