Rockport files for bankruptcy. 

 

The brands include Rockport, Cobb-Hill, and Aravon.

I don't even recall ever visiting a stand alone Rockport store in the U.S. or Canada either. How about you? I usually just visit retailers that sell the brand, among others. I guess we'll just have to see how this affects access to these brands of shoes and where to buy them going forward.

I haven't seen any Rockport shoes for years.  I do have a couple pairs of sturdy, well-made oxford walking shoes I got about 18 years ago.  Very comfortable with custom orthotics.   I doubt anyone makes them that good anymore.

My DH wears Rockports. They have outlet stores many places. I believe they mostly exited the B&M retail malls some time ago keeping their presence in the outlets.

QVC had a TSV several years back of Rockport shoes. I have been looking for a similar style ever since.
