What has happened that people get so angry about something like this?
@gift message on order - You need to calm down and take a few breaths.
If you read QVC's policy, it's clearly stated that, if you simply return something for a refund, they deduct the return shipping, plus any original shipping.
If you send an item back for an exchange and they don't have what you want in stock, they will not charge you for the return shipping. You will get a full refund.
If the item is defective or you were sent the wrong item, you will get a full refund.
If you are a "dedicated QVC shopper", you should be aware of the return policies. The customer has to bear some responsibility for reading the terms of a sale, before purchasing, as you would with any other retailer, online or otherwise.
You've been given good advice about contacting the Social Team. They may be able to help you, but they are not obligated to do so.
(And this might have been better, posted in the "Customer Care" forum.)

@nyc1 wrote:@gift message on order Call again and speak to a manager. Let them know you would like to exchange for the next size up. If not available, that's on them. You are willing to EXCHANGE rather than return. They should give full credit.
You can also contact the QVCSOCIALTEAM@QVC.COM. They are fabulous and very helpful. I would start there.
Good luck.I don't think it's possible to speak with a manager, at least that was always my experience with that request. As stated above, email the social team.
@rms1954. I don't recall having anyone report they talked to a supervisor or manager. I doubt they exist.
I have at times spoken to a supervisor. But that was a while back because frankly, in my experience, customer service has gotten much better and they have addressed all my issues.
@gift message on order If I understood you correctly, it may be that the refund they gave you was fair. If your order was on easy pay and you had only made one payment, they deducted S&H from that first payment and maybe that is why the refund was tiny. I was always confused by tiny refunds like you, and have stopped using easy pay for all but the largest of purchases. If you place your order on line, I think you just have to check a box at checkout to choose no easy pay. You can also choose no easy pay as your default by going into "my account", look at the right hand column" Settings", click on "Easy Pay Preference", and if the box is checked, click on the check mark to get rid of it. That way, ALL your purchases will default to NO EASY PAY. If you make a purchase by going through checkout, you will have the option to choose easy pay for that specific purchase. But if you just click on Speed Buy on the product page, it will not give you an EASY PAY option, it will just use your default settings. If you realize you made a mistake, just go fast after placing the order to order status and cancel the order. I have done that. If you wait a few minutes, you may lose the ability to cancel. Sometimes the system is cranky and the order does not show up. In those instances call customer service IMMEDIATELY. This does not work during the late night hours. CS shuts down at some point, 1 of 2AM ET, and no one can help until they open up again at 8 or 9AM ET. And at that point they may just say it is too late to change your order.
Hope this helps!

Wait, a long time buyer is ANGRY!!!!!!! So much so they sign up for the message board using the docile name of "gift message on order" to post their negative comment. Not choose a name with more bite to it?
I can't be the only one noticing the nightly negative complaints from first time posters, the names in small type, the overuse of punctuation, the one time post with no follow up, no avatars, no signatures...
Smack by backside and call me a bot, because it fits the profile.
None the less, always entertaining. Should be interesting to see if the OP returns. I'll gladly apologize.

I get what you're saying, but I really think people are upset with the service, their item, refund, etc. and decide to sign up to post their complaint. They're just finding a way to vent and are not interested in sticking around. Everyone was new once.

@Etoile308 I agree. I think we are being skunked. I have mentioned before the recent spate of one time new posters with a complaint that should be obvious trying to draw responses and having fun with it. This post seems over the top angry for such a simple matter.
If I am mistaken, I sincerely apologize to this new poster and hope the helpful responses explain the correctness of her refund.

@Etoile308 Not sure what your point is. You think this is the competition, trying to sabotage qvc? Kind of doubt it. I have been sufficiently annoyed at the mysterious tiny refunds that one needs a math degree to figure out how they calculated, so I sort of sympathize. QVC does have odd rules about calculating refunds. They keep sales taxes I think. Sounds like robbery to me, but not worth fighting about, since most things I return don't have sales taxes, or they are small amounts that are not worth getting aggravated about.

@KathyM23 Not sure what would be "fun" about this post, but if it is a fake, I am annoyed I took the time to respond. I can't think of any "fun" that would come from that post.

@NYCLatinaMe I meant fun for the poster. Sorry I was not clear.
