Sorry I didn't respond sooner--I forget to look at my Notifications!  You can purchase kinesiology tape online at a number of places or at Target and maybe drugstores like Walgreens and CVS.  And then you can view tons of 'how to tape" videos on youtube.

 

If you have been wearing athletic shoes for 3 years, it seems that your doctor has not been able to remedy this problem.  Have you thought about alternatives like acupuncture and/or massage therapy?  Sometimes we have to take matters into our own hands...
