I need arch support, Vionics don't work for me, at least the ones I've tried felt stiff and plastic. I would like a flat that would work with ankle pants. Any recommendations?

If you're in the mood for flip-flops, Telic sandals are THE comfiest around. Do a search, they rock. They're made in the USA and can be tossed into the washer to clean them. LOVE!!

Clarks have arch support? I don't remember seeing any arch support in the ones I bought for my daughter.

All Clarks are not created equally, with arch support. Many of them do not have any, which is why I've stopped buying them.

I wear a dress orthotic in my shoes since I have an unusually high arch. The shoes I wear are Ecco,Mephisto,Aetrex,and Munro. Munro and Aetrex probably would work best for you. I agree with the comment about Telic sandals. Comfy and great arch support. I could buy them in every color plus made in USA!
