Recommendation for a crossbody?

Hi ladies,

I recently bought my Mom 2 B Mak crossbody bags from the Dillards sale. She just started using the one and is already having a quality issue with it. I had a quality issue with one of my own BMaks and returned it and I still have one (and love it) that hasn't had any issues.

We've been looking at other styles and brands. One she's considering is the Portofino Pocket Sac Crossbody. Does anyone know if it's really heavy? I've read some of the Portofino bags are heavy. She's wanting an E/W style - she's not interested in the more common flat style N/S, so that really limits the choices. She wants something small-medium, top-zip and prefers a nice durable pebbled leather. I just thought I'd ask all of you what you like and see if you have any suggestions.
