Received STINKY bag from VB.com

Last week, VB.com had the "VERA" tote on sale in certain prints for 49.99. I ordered TWO. When the box arrived, I opened it and the first bag was okay. The second tote STUNK, like some kind of strong insect spray that was deep in the fabric. It was very strong and I tried to "air" out the bag on my deck for 2 days and the smell still stayed.

I am returning the bag, the purpose of this post is to WARN YOU....this is the 2nd time this has happened to me. IT happened last year when VB.com had a promotion where you received a free wallet. That also STUNK. I had to return it.

I wonder if some of these "freebies and deep discount" prices are to get rid of defective merchandise. Just as a word of advice...please smell your bags before throw away the box and receipt.

This has never happened with a QVC purchase...and it has not happened with a majority of my VB.com orders but it has now happened twice.
