I have two other bags but they are the cloth bags. So my husband bought me the one that was on clearance as a b'day present. I've never had an all leather bag and I don't mean to put down this item, but I was a tiny bit disappointed in the way the leather looks. It's kind of shiny and a little fake looking. Will it soften with use and look more like leather? Also, the sides on the strap are sticky which I found odd.

Any help here would be appreciated.
