Is anyone NOT noticing the DOLLAR SIGN on the bag?!?! THAT is what is tacky and classless that most are talking about.

The bag itself with just the flag on it is fine as it's done with thousands of other items out there. But that however is not what people are referring to here and are disgusted by esp on her FB page.

And LR with the huge smile to boot just says it all!!

Disrespectful. Just because it is ""Italian"" and shamelessly promoted by LR does not make it appropriate to sell. I doubt an American manufacturer would deface our flag with a dollar sign.

No argument there, Trailblazer! But the OP's title specifically says "defacement" of the flag, which is what most here are discussing. BTW - I think the bag is hideous, but that's besides the major point, lol!

I have a flag print bag, lots of flag print scarves, tees, socks, etc.

The dollar sign is just weird and makes the whole bag hideous.

I would rather carry my stuff around in a plastic Dollar Store bag before I would carry that, it is totally tasteless due to the huge $ on it. IMO
