Re: REMEMBERING SHOES FROM LONG AGO

The original Earth shoes from the 1970's, with "negative heel technology".  I wonder what Anne Kelso, the creator, would think of the Earth brand today!

I loved my Kork Ease.   I wore the high wedges amd had no problem walking in them.  Wouldn't chance walking in them these days, though.  : )

For those who remember shoes from decades ago, what were some of your favorite brands?

I remember Hush Puppies, those shoes were so comfortable.  I loved Keds, I use to remove the rubber keds lable from the heel, not sure why lol.  I remember P F Flyers.  "run faster jump higher"  Boys wore them. I think.Smiley Happy

I always liked the look of candies.  Of course there is no cushion.  I could never wear them they never made them in narrow and my foot would just slide to the front.

Re: REMEMBERING SHOES FROM LONG AGO

I have no idea about a brand, but I remember black flats with a T strap.

My feet are narrow, so I had to get my shoes at more expensive stores and often had to get whatever they had in my size regardless of style.   The less expensive shoe stores never carried narrow widths, just like QVC!  Unfortunately, the shoes on the Q are definitely not inexpensive!

Yes!  The style I remember were very similar, but had T straps.  I loved them!
