Question on shoe color

I love winter white pants for fall/winter, but never know what color shoes to wear. Help!

Personally, I like a luggage tan type color with winter white. Navy works too.

I would look for a light color taupe, light tan, cream or gray suede shoe or ankle boot. I prefer to keep the shoes lighter if I am wearing white or ivory slacks.

Like any other shade of white or neutrals my whites leave the shoe color option open to coordinate with the rest of my outfit and the occasion. Not much help but I do like all neutrals in a skirt or pants thus leaving me with lots of options for the rest of my outfit. If I buy a top with a print or multi color design it can easily work with many bottoms. I can take a color from the top to match my shoes. I do not often select my shoes for a pop of color.

A neutral shoe would be my fall back choice. I personally love colored shoes and I would probably chose my shoe color from the rest of my outfit. I do love a pop of color in the shoe - if I have on all navy I may pick a red shoe or a green shoe just for fun.

My go-to is luggage/British tan/cork color ... a bit lighter in the warm weather, a bit darker in the cooler weather.

I love a red shoe with Winter white pants. It just pops them and red is considered a neutral surprisingly enough. A dark gray is also very pretty with it as it grounds the Winter white and really lets you know that it is a Winter white.

Kachina624,. I have been listening to the news and seeing the storm damage.. I am so lucky that I live in my area. In my 71 years I have only dealt with 2 hurricanes. I would rather be snowed in for a week because we keep supplies for those few times. We are inconvenienced but we do not lose our family and homes. Thank you for you response. It was exactly what I needed. It was so unexpected that I burst out laughing and scared my poor cat.
