Question about Jessica Simpson

I was just looking at the People.com website. I like that "I really love my..." feature. Today, as many days, it has Jessica Simpson and one purse/tote or the other. Today's picture is a Christian Dior tote (black, quilted). I think it is priced at $2,400. I know that she sells a line of purses and totes, many are sold on QVC. I have NEVER seen her photographed carrying one of her own line of purses. Hmmm...

You would think that she would want to promote them by carrying them sometimes herself, since she is so photographed. It would easy advertising and self-promotion.

Does anybody else find this strange?
