Question Handbag Sleuths

My SIL had a handbag yesterday (tote) with flowers and I saw "pea" written on it. I'm not sure if there was anything else written on it. She picked it up as she was leaving and didn't want to ask about it. I wasnt close so I didn't see the fabrication.
