~ Question For Those That Carry Dooney & Bourke ~

I've never purchased a D&B, but almost jumped on the hot pick for today until I read the reviews. There were comments that the bag was too heavy. With arthritis, that was a deal breaker for me, unfortunately. Do those of you that carry D&B find that they are heavy as a rule?

I have five Dooneys and only one is heavy. I still love it but I would not buy one any heavier that that one.

Re: ~ Question For Those That Carry Dooney & Bourke ~

I have several D&B bags and the only one that I find really heavy is my largest leather bag...I have to be careful not to load it down with too much stuff as it is rather heavy eve when empty. The other smaller bags I have are okay but since they are all leather, they are heavier than faux leather or fabric bags. I have found I carry them less than my VB because the VB bags are so much lighterweight.
