i actually ordered my first pair of Propets last week.  Mary Janes.  I injured my knee recently and needed something that woud give me a soft landing and keep my feet secure.   I agree with others that Skechers are not the best option.   The Propets are great, so far.  I tried a pair of Mephistos, which are spposed to be good, but returned them. Not as comfy.

I hope the Propet works for you. I need the maryjane style because of my ankle fusion I can’t “wiggle”
Into a shoe. I’ve had great luck with them
For the short distances I’ve been walking.

It’s been a year + since I was in car accident ending in a Pilon fracture of the ankle. 4 months in an external fixator frame screwed into my bones. Healed ok, but an aggressive form of arthritis took over the joint and I had to have my ankle fused. My ankle is totally stable but far less flexibility to my foot/ankle. Still can’t get my foot into any type of tennis shoes. I have screws and a plate. I hope your ankle is or healed up for you!!
