For winter boots and sandals with heels I wear Clarks and for summer weather I wear Sketchers sneakers or Clarks flat sandals.

Sketchers, birkenstock, clarks, ryka, easy spirit travel time, Naot.  All these are comfortable.  Have not tried vionics yet.

New Balance were okay ... but not so great that I'd buy them again.

Clarks Privo sandals. I have a slip on and another pair with velcro backs. Both are patent look so they look a bit dressier too.

No shoes are comfortable for me for standing all day but that's what I would choose if I couldn't wear my sneakers.
