I am looking for any help or advice from anyone familiar with Dooney.....
....two years ago, i got my wife a Dooney Chiara bag in black patten leather size medium. She "loved it, loved it, loved it" (as she would say). Funny thing about my wife, she likes to shop, but doesnt go overboard with it. But when she finds something she wants, she gets it. This bag was one of those items.
.....it was her favorite purse of all time, but unfortunatly, some of the patten leather wore off the corners. she sent it back to dooney for repair. dooney would not repair or replace it, instead they sent her gift certificate for a replacement bag. They did a very nice thing, but she really wants the bag and they would not send her original back to her.
.....so fastforward, her birthday is coming up in a few months. We have had a few rough patches along the way, mostly with my work and our 7 year old daughter. I want to find the same purse for her. I have called Dooney and they dont have any. I have called all the dooney outlets, i have called macys, dilliards, nordstrom, qvc, ilovedooney.com, amazon, zappos, searched everything i can find on the internet. cant find one anywhere.
So, i am deciding to put my case out to the Dooney fans on QVC. I am in search of a Dooney and Bourke Medium Chiara in Black Patten Leather. If any one knows of one, can suggest a place to look on line, has one they want to sell, or has any help or suggestions, please let me know!
