yes i did and i really like them.  so far no rubbing for me.  we've been having so much rain that i've worn them only twice for short periods of time.  maybe a shoemaker could help you out with that rubbing.

@wilmaTotally agree with you.  They're too heavy for light summer fashions.  I think they're balanced better with a pant so they don't cut the height off.
