BC, has your blue bag arrived? If so, what do you think?

Hi stevieb…… YES! She arrived on Friday. I haven't had a chance to really examine her that closely. She is still all wrapped up with the paper & dust cover inside. But you were so right about the color… it may not be a true navy but definitely close enough. Very pretty. And the leather is so beautiful and rich looking. Will probably have an update in the next couple of days. Maria

Hi stevieb and Irishrose 136 ..... I still have not used my new bag. But I removed all the wrappings and she is GORGEOUS! Love the leather. It has a slight sheen to it but not too much. The leather is nice and supple and thick. Love the color! As I said before, it may not be a true navy but dark enough if navy is what you are looking for. I was afraid it would be too large for me .... I'm only 5'2" and weigh 115 lbs. But I am happy with the size. It is not too overwhelming. And it will hold quite a bit. It has the usual Dooney inside pockets. The only drawback is that it does not have an outside pocket. But that is not a deal breaker for me. I had been looking for a navy bag and am glad I purchased this one. Now I have to try to stop purchasing new handbags for a while. LOL.

Hi BC, the Toledo line is beautiful. I agree on the lack of an outside pocket and don't know why Dooney doesn't do more of them. I've been a bit tempted by the new Stanwich large satchel, but I'm afraid the lack of any outside pocket is a deal breaker with that silhouette. With the Toledo, the opening and zipper are easier to get into, so although I'd prefer some outside accessibility, I can live without it. With the Stanwich and the modified fold-over top I'm thinking it's a no-go, even though I love the look of the bag and was thinking of getting it in t'moro because it's just so pretty.
