Opinion Please - Florentine Trouble

I posted this under a different topic, but then decided to start a new discussion for your feedback.

I finally received my new handbag from the Dooney warehouse in California. I am so disappointed in the quality of this handbag, that I am sick. It is the Dusty blue Domed buckle, the dye is uneven, almost bare in spots. When I called Dooney they said to send it back for an exchange. Seriously, by the time the whole exchange is made summer will be over. I asked if I could exchange it at my local Dooney boutique and they said no, it has to go through the website sales exchange/return process. DH purchase it through website because of easy-pay.

I mentioned to the phone rep that what if I receive another defected bag, she said it was a fluke that I got this one. REALLY! What kind of quality control goes on at Dooney. I am so angry and saddened by this experience. Don't know how to break the news to DH. He may never want to buy me another D&B again after this experience.
