I don't think OkuLai flips have anti-pronation technology. Trying them on is the only way to tell. I did size down and the fit was good. (7.5 -8 to 7). Bought mine in Nordies,Ohana style. I like them better than Orthoheel. They fit my high arch and don't "dig" into the top of my foot.

On 4/13/2014 2zbeach said: I need arch support, but Orthoheel was too hard. OkuLai even have styles in leather, unlike some other brands. My neurologist recommended against Fitflops. Said in my case( neuropathy) they were not a good choice. The Okulai finally fit my needs.

I understand and agree. I need the exercise and muscle challenge of the Fit Flops. I cannot wear a negative heel but need the arch support. I had a THR and have a weak iliopsoas muscle on one side.

We are all different with different needs. I'm glad you found shoes that fit your needs.

Another brand that has a great arch support and are super cute is ""Gliter Flops"". I wore mine for years and they held up great!

Speaking of well made flip flops, I just bought my second pair of Clarks flip flops for $39 at JC Penney. They are great.
