Okay so What's Up with A203807

Again, I just heard QVC and in this case Jill repeat the story that Peter Dooney refuses to sell the kiss coin purse sold in A203807 separately. I believed this and actually almost purchased ANOTHER A203807 just to get another kiss coin purse with credit card holders.

Well, I was shocked in May of this year when I walked into the Dooney & Bourke Outlet at the Premium Outlets near Orlando, FL (on vacation with my family) and found an array of the exact same kiss coin purses on sale for about $30.00. I picked up another one in black. When I returned home, I lined my new black kiss coin purse up side-by-side with my red kiss coin purse that I received when I ordered A203807 when it was a TSV a few years ago, and they are exactly the same.

Either Dooney & Bourke is NOT aware of its own distribution or someone is lying. I am a Dooney & Bourke girl and find QVC to be reputable for the most part, so not sure what's going on here.

I never buy my D&B bags from Q; too high-priced. I have always done well with accessories like coin purses,etc at the outlets. I usually buy bags at Nordstrom on sale for almost 1/2 of what Q charges.

From what I understand, Dooney will tweak the design and/or colors so they can say it is exclusive to Q. I heard someone else found the coin purses at an outlet, but not the same colors. It's just a marketing strategy, and if you want a specific color or design, it may only be sold at Q or a secondary market, like ebay.

I get fed up with that myth too. Those coin purses are widely available at retail stores, outlets the Dooney site and at I Love Dooney. They might not be available all the time and in all the colors the Logo Lock is, but a reasonable facsimile of them IS available elsewhere.

ILD sells those kiss lock coin purses with the credit card slots. The colors may vary from time to time but most are in the $35 range. Yes, it is a lie that it is exclusive to that bag!
