My BIL has filed petition to be guardian for my parents who are now declared incompetent. In the beginning it was discussed so he could take care of financial matters which was fine with me. Now I find out that my power of attorney (oldest child) will be revoked and I will have no control over any matters including medical. The court hearing is Wednesday and I don't know what to do. I feel very guilty about this and want to confront my BIL but know a war will start because we have had some issues lately with personalities. I am a nurse and won't even be able to sign an operation consent, he will do that. I don't want to be stuck doing the financial stuff, its very difficult and he is in finance.
