O/T Do you use Woolite when washing cottons?

This is a crazy question, I know. {#emotions_dlg.blush}

I was over on the Vera Bradley site looking at handbags as a possible gift for my Mom. This is what the care instructions said:

"Vera Bradley does not recommend the use of Woolite®, since it is not recommended for cotton fabrics."

I looked on the Woolite site and they seem to recommend it for cottons.

I have been using Dark Woolite on all my dark tops and slacks/jeans to prevent fading and shrinking. Now I'm wondering if I look for another laundry detergent for dark clothes.

Does anyone have any ideas about this?
