O/T, But I Need a Solution!

I have a D&B mini crossbody bag that I took on a cruise last year to use while on the ship and shore excursions. The magnetized "cabin card" you must keep with you at all times became de-magnetized in my bag due to the magnetic closure on the bag. I really want to take this same little bag on an upcoming cruise, but am needing to know is there any thing I can do to protect that card from becoming de-magnetized again? Thanks so much!
