I needed to replace my dark brown boots and I decided to get over the knee boots. I wore them today and so comfortable and no break in period needed.

I'm waiting for mid high in black from Bloomingdale's and regular black riding boots from Franco Sarto site.

I received the Mid-high boots and also very comfy. Wore them all day.

I love Frank Sarto's shoes and boots too.  He has some great designs.

Thank you @Kachina624  and I have no idea about being water resistant. I live in South Texas and our winters are very mild and not very wet.
