I find that Merrell shoes, in either a suede Jungle Moc or Encore Breeze clog style are very comfortable for when I go somewhere that I'll be doing a lot of walking.

My favorite comfortable shoe is the SAS brand.  I can wear all day.  Got a pair of sandals to go to universal in Florida.  Super comfortable.  Always liked their brand for total comfort.  They have walking shoes also.  San Antonio Shoes.

My favorite sturdy walking shoe is made by Nurse Mates.  They are all.leather with some interesting finishes,very supportive with a wonderful orthodic footbed.  The are much more supportive but not as extreme as Vionics.

This is my favorite available at Zappos and DSW for about $89.

I used to swear by Ryka’s until I found Brooks. I can wear them right out of the box.

My favori\te shoes are Birkenstock Clogs/Sandals; Ryka Skywalk and Devotion Plus 2 (Zappos dot com); and Clarks loafers - Ashland Joy (QVC) and Cheyn Madi (Zappos or clarksusa dot com). Prices vary and always read the reviews.
