Hi Ladies,

I went to Nordies and purse posed with both the Florentine Satchel and hobo.

Ladies, they took my breath and I honestly can't pick one over the other.

The leather is so soft and supple yet has some structure. They had them in both black and natural. I'm not a black bag gal but I have to say, they are the prettiest black bag I've ever seen. I purse posed with the natural.

The hobo does have an adjustable strap. On the next to the last adjustment it went over my arm and I had plenty of room but the last adjustment was more comfortable. It fits close to the body and is not heavy. The top slouches beautifully which will give more of a strap drop.

The satchel is stunning. The two straps sewed on to the body give it just a bit more detail. The handles fit nicely on the wrist and the top has the slouch factor, as does the hobo. It is a heavier bag but doesn't feel like it's 4.5 lbs. I compared it in the store with the Michael Kors N/S Hamilton and it was a teeny bit heavier.

The lining is STUNNING!! Nice green top and goes into the red. You will be able to see everything in your bag.

This is not the same leather as the old FVL, which maybe why Dooney has it listed as Florentine and not FVL. My fingernail accidently put a slight scratch on the natural but rubbed right out with my finger.

There are two big problems with these:

1. Picking a style and color

2. I don't think I would change out of this bag. I would carry it every day. My other bags might not feel the love. LOL

IMO, this is a must have no matter which style you go for. This is the best bag Dooney has to date.

Dillards also has the satchel now. YIPPEE!

At Dillards I found the 1975 credit card wallet in TMoro marked $82.50 plus another 30% off. So I walked out with it for $57.75. I was going to get the continental or the zip around but for that price, I'll take the credit card wallet.

I'm going to see if I have anything I am willing to part with for a trade in.

If you get a chance, go on a "touch and feel" mission. It is worth it.
