My G.I.L.I. Roma 2 - Aubergine

I was so excited to purchase this bag. Got her, packed her up and within days the cracking and peeling started. I made my mind up to keep it, until I looked at the area around the O rings and saw the leather wearing through.{#emotions_dlg.ohmy}

Unfortunately, I will be returning her. Does anyone know if all the Roma 2 bags are having issues? I looked through the reviews of the original Roma, and no one mentioned any issues. Maybe I will size up to the original Roma. But I love the Aubergine color. I am so sad!!!{#emotions_dlg.blushing}
