I was reading the board this week and looked at the 12 days of Christmas on the Dooney site. I found a canvas bag in the Juliette style and ordered it, it was half price! When I received it, I like it very much but it was really too large ( for me) to carry as a handbag, So I came up with the brilliant idea of giving it as a gift to a friend that will be starting her student teaching rotation next month, and this will make a GREAT book bag. I hope she will love it.

I went to Dillards Monday and looked at the bags, they were just too expensive . Then I read about the Dillards sale on this board, so I drug myself to the mall last night and this is what I found. I got an OSTRICH satchel in a dark sort of raspberry color. ( i don't know all the company named colors) the tag said it was 275 dollars, marked down to $192.50. THEN I got 30% Off! I paid 134 dollars plus tax for this beautiful bag! I felt like i had won the lottery.

So ladies I am the proud owner of a Dooney bag, I have been wanting one for such a long time and I just couldn't afford $275 for a purse. SO, a great big thanks to the ladies of this board for keeping us all informed of all the great bargains
