Lurker Needs Help With Flo

I am looking to buy my niece a Florentine Satchel for Christmas. I have a large one and love it and thought I would get a slightly smaller one for her. I ordered one from the Q and mine is from London Luggage and they feel different. Both are in the natural and about the same shade but the leather feels much more supple on mine. Did the Q have their own line made for them OR are they the same as in the stores? The size is the only difference. Same style and color. Even DH noticed it and asked me about it. Any info any of you have would be appreciated. Thanks!
