Do any of you own a real Louis Vitton handbag? My son's fiance loves this designer and has a few purses. I personally do not like the look, I do not care for purses with designs of any kind on them since I often wear prints and do not want my purse to clash. I hate changing purses also. Well, the reason I ask is I think she is going to buy me one for Mothers Day or my birthday, not sure which. My daughter mentioned it to me today. I do not know how to approach th esubject and tell her not to get one for me. First, I do not want to insult her taste in handbags, second I do not want to let her know my daughter said anything. I know this designer is very expensive, my future DIL, who is the sweetest person, is a lawyer, so money is not an object for her, but still, I do not want her to waste money on a handbag I will hate to use; ( and if she gets me one I will have to use it).

My husband told me to not say a word, because she will know our daughter told me. My son cannot keep a secret, so leave him out of it; I may as well post it in the newspaper!

Unless one of you ladies can come up with something I haven't thought of, I will keep my mouth shut and maybe she will change her mind. I did tell her I like soft leather handbags, maybe that will help.
