Is this the latest reference to heels on shoes?
Sally Combs just used it and now the Vince Camuto rep just said it. "You have a lot of real estate here."

@Equuleus Yep. It may be the new lingo for amount of surface of the heel that is on the ground to keep you from falling on your bu*t. Anyway, for me I need full sole real estate. No heels...maybe low wedges...for me. Still a stupid term, though.

I've also used a version of that term when bemoaning my feet. I have a very high arch and I've always complained that I don't have enough "real estate" to balance properly during my exercise classes!

Off-topic, but you reminded me. I saw a Birkenstock presentation on HSN recently and the manufacturer rep was female and blonde but was no Sally Combs. Sally was perfect for the Birky brand.
