I like the occasional hobo, though I'm clearly a satchel fan, but try as I might, this one just does nothing for me. I've seen it out and about and it just looks bulky and awkward. I don't like the closure and that pink lining seals the deal for me. But, they've sold a ton of these bags, so clearly they're well loved... just not by me... and few others!

I have a cousin who has this bag and I always see her struggling to open and close the lock. It is bulky and awkward, and the handle (which is stationary because there is no hardware) just stands there in the way.

As you said, it's obviously a top seller. But as I said earlier, it would drive me nuts.

I have this bag in the croco version and thought the lock would aggravate me,...nope the opposite. Its so easy to get into. But yet secure. I also thought not having a outside pocket would be an issue...nope. Again so easy to get into and you can slip your hand in and grab the phone. It is the easiest bag to carry.

Yep, I am a satchel girl too. I got this as a gift, so I can't really get rid of it. I wore it when I first got it and weird thing is, I actually got a lot of complements on it. I just don't like it. And since I carry bags for myself, that is the only thing that matters.

I got it in Ivy several years ago for the kiss lock mostly...and when it arrived the kiss lock was MISSING!

I don't like this bag at all. It's stiff, bulky, hangs funny and it came without the kiss lock!!!!!

I hope you called them for a credit or sent it back. The only reason I've ever considered this bag is for that little coin purse, which, incidentally is intermittently available both via DB and ILD... I know they like to put it out there during each and every of the very frequent and too-lengthy presentation of this bag... that the coin purse can't be ordered separately, but it can be, just not from here. Granted, the color choices aren't as extensive, but there are a few options.

I bought two of them over a period of maybe 2 years. I had to keep sending them back because they were just too heavy.

I have a COACH purse that is almost just like that with a flap over it. It is lighter.

I love this bag-the lock with the simplicity of just the leather.I have in eight different colors,I guess that speaks as to how I like it.Most recently got the aqua,beautiful color.Never had any problems with the lock on any of them.Have loved this bag from the get go!
