Will you be adding any loafers to your collection for the Fall season? I can't wear loafers. Even if they are marked wide. I do think many of them would be comfortable, but MY feet does not like them.....

I tried some cream colored JC Penney brand loafers that had a Vibram lug hiking sole. What was I thinking? If I'm going to do some urban hiking I just put on comfortable sneakers.
Thank goodness they were too narrow, too long and too heavy with that sole.

I wish I could wear loafers too. Most styles just don't work on my feet.
The closest I come to loafers are Ecco Barentz slip-on, Ecco Soft 7 Penny Loafer, or Ecco Soft 7 Slip-on.
Ecco is my favorite brand of shoe. They are pricey but I have some that are 4 years old and still look like new. I buy when on sale at various retailers or at the US Ecco website.

No because I've already got about 10 pairs of loafers. My favorites are Clark's Ashland Bubble (I have 3 pairs of these). I got my first pair from QVC and the others from Amazon. They look like regular loafers with a small tassel on the front. They are soooo comfortable! My foot is medium width, but I've had plantar fasciitis in the past and a poorly fitting shoe will set that off again. These have great arch support. They're still available at Amazon, priced between $40-$50. There are a good number of wide and extra wide widths. They're not as snazzy as the ones you posted, but I don't think they scream geriatric either.

I don't care for the look of a loafer, I prefer and own a few pairs of Clarks Unstructured shoes and mostly wear those in the fall along with a leather bootie or a pair of my Lamo boots, depends on the day of course.

I have worn loafers almost exclusively since the 7th grade. I started with Old Maine Trotters and other brands, and have worn Coach quite a bit too, but now have Talbots in every color they've made I think. They are lighter weight and softer than the more structured ones.
Having worn low heels most of my working life and real heels when need be only, I find this excellent for every day wear and like the slip on feature of loafers. Plus they are pretty in colors.
I keep a couple of pair of sneakers for rain and emergencies only. I hate wearing them. And a few pair of dress shoes--flat and very low heel.

I love the Ashland bubble too, have 2 pair and really like the style and comfort. Hope that hasn't changed.
