I have two light colored Dooney bags. One is white and the other is an off white. I have not had a single problem with either of them. I also have a hot pink patent bag that managed to pickup a blue mark across the back. I don't know how or why that happened. I would suggest storing them in their dust bags to avoid unnecessary color contacts!

Do not store a light colored handbag or a patent leather handbag in a dark dust bag... even the one that come with the bag. Use a white pillow case (or pillow protector) that has been washed. It's better not to take any chances.
I have several Dooney Dillen leather light colored handbags and have never had any yellowing. But light colored handbags can pick up dirt or dye transfer from clothing (especially denim or dark leather).
Dillen leather can be cleaned easily with a little soapy water on a soft white cloth. The best way to keep the handbag looking good is to clean the dirt off frequently. Every week check the bag and take a few minutes to spruce it up.
Dye transfer stains are more of a problem. There was another thread on that and also a youtube video with some hints on how to remove them.
