In order to save my sanity, I'm going to direct you to some sources which I hope will help. I'm index finger typing on a Kindle pop screen (the wireless keyboard took a dive) which is challenging when typing any post at length (which an answser to your question would be) as I found out early this AM. Typed a post on a Beauty thread that pertained to Animal testing and once submitted I got the error code and message that the thread was removed. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

ical, I'll preference this with a bit of an explanation.

The first link is from a handout that is now made available online. Have found it to be a handy tool.

The next are from pubmed and I've included a comprehensive book.

I have a go to from ATSDR which is used for CE credits. I don't find it comprehensive, but it gives a good idea of what is required for practitioners to complete a course and have a said credit. If you would like to see it I'll post.

There is still so much to learn in regards to heavy metals and toxicity.

Lead also enters the body through inhalation.

The longer I read your posts the more difficult it is for me to believe your occupational claims, happy housewife.

What does lead poisoning have to do with my profession / and what is your source of that information about lead? i'm sure it would require the lead be somehow aerosolized. So how is that going to happen to the dye on a purse?

My comment was born out of what has become long term frustration aimed at the lack of knowledge which exists within medical communities (and I'm a part of them) in regards to heavy metals and their toxicities, for which I will not apologize. I will, however, apologize for my snarky tone in the above post.

I've seen several alarming (alarmist?) posts and articles. It isn't just QVC's handbags; it's many faux leather handbags and has to do with the chemicals and processes used in manufacturing and finishing the plastic materials from which the bags are constructed. Personally, I wouldn't worry much unless you chew your bags.......
