Kathy Van Zeeland handbags were on ShopHQ today and really had a nice assortment to pick from, picked up a couple for myself and one for my Granddaughter. I am so glad she is back and selling handbags again, like her style and the charms are a nice touch.

She wasn't on presenting them. It was someone else.

Those who like her bags should clearly enjoy her return. Personally, I didn't miss her line and can't fathom that anyone opted to bring it back. I don't feel all bags have to be leather to be worthwhile, but I'm just not a fan of her overall look and certainly, unless SHQ is doing a more realistic job of pricing her bags than QVC did, they tend to be pricey for what they are, unless bought at discount...

Oh, I absolutely agree!! I fell for one of her more subtle hobos early on and used it a handful of times....well, the faux leather on this particular bag started peeling everywhere..."a la Tignanello" if you know what I mean! I winded up donating it! Besides that one, I never liked any of her bags and found them grossly overpriced! For those who are interested, Burlington carries them at very low pricing...I spotted one there on clearance for $13.00 (it had a msrp of $120.00...ridiculous!!!!!). To each her own though...enjoy your bags ladies!Smiley Happy)))))

Craftie, it's always nice to have a line return that you really liked. I didn't see Kathy's handbags last night, but I hope you and your granddaughter enjoy your purchases.

I loved the purse-in-a-purse, and would have purchase the gray-multi combo if I shopped the other channel, but since I don't I'm hoping it appears sooner or later at TJMaxx..

I was flipping through channels and saw just a few minutes of the KVZ presentations on HQ last night. Personally, I have never been impressed with most of her bag styles, and saw no evidence of improvement. Too much bling, rattle-y charms and doo-dads, and busy patterns and designs for my taste. I don't mind and own some faux leather bags, but these are priced at about twice (or more) what I usually pay for nicer-looking, more substantial faux material at TJ Maxx and elsewhere. As the hosts were showing and manipulating the bags last night, they seemed thin and crinkly.......like disposable plastic shopping bags or something. Not impressed.

I have too many of her bags. They're so pretty and I can change them. I have Tig's too, and just got her husband's brand. Not much into those now, I have enough to last me for the rest of time.

I liked KVZ bags when she first came out and I bought some of the less blingy ones. They were at the time great. She had just the right amount of studding and detail to be interesting. Then she got over exposed and put all this junky looking hardware on her bags and I moved on to other things. Recently I've taken some of my KVZ bags out and I am using them again. Some are classics and very attractive and functional.

By the way if you are looking for a KVZ bag there are thousands for sale on ebay and you should be able to score one if you are patient for under about twenty dollars.
