Simply put your credit cards backwards in your wallet.

Putting a credit card in a wallet backwards won't do a thing. The devices that scan your card don't care. They scan the chip, and there IS no right or wrong side to the chip. Also doesn't matter if it's even in a wallet. Can be skimmed from outside a briefcase, pockets, purses, shoes.

Yes it will. And it has nothing to do with whether or not inanimate devices "care."
I choose to believe the experts who say it will instead of the people hawking something that doesn't work (according to those same experts).

Wow. Glad I got out of the CC business, but my debit/visa card has been pilfered at chain restaurants where they take your card to process it. I have apparently purchased tea in England, ID protection (LOL imagine that), and tons of groceries at Kroger, all under $100 as they thought it wouldn't pop. Both times, my bank shut it down. They thought I was out of my area, and I was. They did this on a weekend, so thankfully someone was watching. I also only use the debit at the ATM, otherwise I use the Visa part because Visa guarantees purchases. In just a few days my money was back. If I ran a low balance or overdrafted because of it, they would replace it without the charges, but I don't like to run a low balance, so there was money there and I wasn't hurting without it, but people can easily and seriously miss the money!

Love mine! Fits into everything. I also have one of those metal credit card cases which I take everything to work in, no wallet! It even has my license and two checks! My cash and change is in a makeup bag.

Dear ECGB, what type of metal credit card case are you reffering to ? One of those aluminum wallets?
Thanks !

This was so informative, I need to get a RFID wallet for my husband. He works in public and if anyone has any recommendations please post it.

I agree with this completely. None of my cards have an RFID chip in them.
