Oh please, the passing of Joan Rivers has nothing to do with it. Jill is Jill. This is her MO. It can be called 'curt', 'direct', 'snippy', 'no-nonsense, and so on, right up to descriptors that, regardless of how appropriate they might be..., could well approach the oft-mentioned 'bashing'. She's almost always this way. I don't care for her, never have. The choice for me was whether to endure her to see what was being presented at a time of my choosing or not. Ultimately, I chose to watch most of the show, since I didn't see the earlier shows and might not choose to watch the last one of the day, which hopefully will include a host more to my liking... Personally, while I can't understand why others enjoy her, I figure there are hosts I enjoy that others would question. Her sing-song cadence, her monotone voice, her tendency to take over, for me, outweigh the unarguable fact that she tends to provide a very thorough presentation.

I don't usually watch those handbag shows but I had it on and I also thought they were having fun with it. Jill seems to have a more dry not laughy laugh sense of humor and it might seem to be snippy to some especially for those who are watching to look for something negative.

I really don't think a professional producer might be talking like that. He certainly would be polite and courteous and would be using words like please and thank you.

I like Jill Bauer as a host. I think she is professional and gets the job done. I watched the Dooney show and did not feel she was snippy. She certainly sold a lot of bags. This is her job. I am sure the vendor was thrilled.
