Hi Ladies. I was wondering if you all consider the Ice Metallic Roma 2 bag seasonless, or is that more of a spring/summer bag? Also, is metallic considered a neutral? Thanks!

Those of you who own the Ice Metallic: Do you think the leather finish will wear well? Did the tassel have any slash marks? Also, Lisa said she thought the color was between silver and gold. To me, it definitely looks silver. Are you happy with your bag?

I had to return the first Ice Metallic Roma 2, because there were slash marks across the tassel. I reordered the bag, and I only removed the plastic from the tassel to check it out. The tassel has some slash marks across it, but not as many as the bag I returned, and they're not as deep.

I already have the Blush and the Natural Ostrich Roma 2 bags. I'm uncertain about the Ice Metallic.

I have the ice metallic and love it. It is more silver but in warm like looks more gold. My tassel doesn't have any cut marks. The bag did have a very strong chemical smell when I first got it but went away after a couple of days. I think the leather will hold up well. I have a new kitten and he climbed/ clawed his way up the bag. The scratch marks rubbed out nicely and aren't visible. I think it is a great ""cool"" neutral. I don't look good with white or beige bags because of my fair skin so this perfect. Definitely a keeper for me!

Thanks Melbell for such specific comments. I am considering the ice metallic, but was not sure about the color. You just can't tell much on tv. Appreciate your post. I have the natural ostrich.

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.

I counted 15 tassel strands that have light slash marks (that only go through the dyed layer of the leather). I don't see any marks on the handbag itself. The bag is soft and pliable, and I don't think it will need a "break-in" period. I don't know if it's worth the trouble to exchange the bag for another, but I'll wait a few days to think about it.

I have fair skin and auburn hair. I can't wear dusty colors (dusty pinks, blues, grays), and I look better in bright or warm colors (turquoise, purple, hot pink, coral, warm gray). I do, however, wear mostly silver jewelry.

Update: Yesterday, I checked over the bag carefully, and I found a 1/2" slash mark on the bottom of the bag next to one of the metal feet. That did it for me. I'm returning the bag and not reordering.

I already have the Natural Ostrich and the Blush. There are some light paint smears on the bottom of the Natural Ostrich bag, just on one end, but I don't want to take a chance and return it for another. I can live with those light paint smears, since it's the bottom of the bag. I don't see anything else on the bag that looks defective.
