But I dont like nude, beige, light tan shoes, especially pumps.  When I see them with a dress, skirt and even slacks I think it makes the whole outfit look tacky and cheap.

But I see it all the time and Im no fashionesta fore sure.

@Imaoldhippie   I have never been a fan of light colored shoes either, especially white.

I think it throws the outfit off. I never liked any beige dress shoe.

I do not wear white shoes but I do like nude color shoes when I wear white jeans.  I try to get a nude shade that matches my skin tone.  I like the look for me and my body type I guess.

It took me awhile but I like the look.

It's supposed to elongate the leg. I do like the look, especially when I'm wearing a light colored suit or dress. I mean, you wouldn't use black for anything light.

You've seen the beige colored ice skates, haven't you?

What I hate the look of is white shoes. Only for the bride!

I follow a fashion blogger that wears nude shoes with black slacks.  Now that look I do not like.  Just does not look right to my eye.

Sorry...I love beige, white, or other light colored shoes for the warmer months.  I hate to see dark shoes with light clothing during the spring and summer months.  JMHO.
