Love flats...shoes of all heights have their place in fashion...and comfort! Well-made flats by Soft, Nurture, etc. all contain padding and arch.
Love the flats with skinny jeans! (And yes, I am OLD!)

I see people in flats all the time and they look really cute but they do not look good on me. I work out a lot and have great legs and flats do nothing for them.

Wear them while you can! Because of recent leg/back/hip issues ... only flat shoes for me!

Wish I could, but I can't. Thanks for reiterating how un-glamorous flats look. My solution is to wear slacks or dressy pants outfits for just about everything. Dresses and skirt suits look really bad with flats; they're not so bad with pants.
You've described me! I have an injured foot, and my dressy clothes are all pants or long skirts, mainly because I will have to wear flats. I can't even stand a 1" heel for more than an hour.

Since I don't wish to be 6' tall when wearing shoes, a flat is a must for me.

I like flats or a lower heel. I'm old enough that I'm not into high heels these days. And I've never cared for wedges for some reason.

I have balance issues so I have to wear a flat shoes....anything with a heel....even a small heel...throws me all off...that's why I am usually bare feet around the house....
I have to admit ....a little heel makes a woman look so much nicer...but those days are long gone for me.....

Years of Karate (I was a 2nd Degree BB), some knee surgeries, light peripheral neuropathy has made shoe buying a challenge. Today I don't care if they are heeled or flat as long as they have enough padding and soft sole to allow me to walk all day without pain....
And I'm not above wearing orthotics if I have to..... I've worn my share of 5" heels and I'm about comfort now (I'd love them to be cute too... but comfort first...!)

I like both flats and heels. Flat shoes can be very flattering if you buy the right ones. I'm petite, too, and I still think flats can be really cute with Audrey Hepburn type pants or boyfriend jeans.
