Am I the only one who doesn't wear sandals? 😱
I don't wear casual or dressy sandals. I have a feeling I'm in the minority on this one.
Some sandals are so cute, but I never like them on my feet. They are uncomfortable for me. I need a backstrap or my heel slips off, and the straps irritate the top of my foot. I can't stand toe loops either.
Another reason I don't wear sandals is I don't like the look of my feet and toes. I have tried a few fuller coverage sandals over the years, but I rarely wore them. I just don't like to show my feet in public unless I'm on a beach. 🥴
I know some of you will ask, "Don't your feet get hot and sweaty in shoes, especially, in the summer?" My answer is not really. I guess it's all what you're used to. I have a pair of perforated flats and an open weave ballet flat that I wear in the summer. I also wear sneakers, loafers, and other flat shoes this time of year.
I don't remember ever wearing sandals growing up. We had one pair of dress shoes, one pair of school shoes, and a pair of sneakers. Did you wear sandals as a child?
Enjoy wearing you're sandals for the rest of the Summer!
Have a Good Weekend!
ETA: I forgot I do have my very old navy blue wedge peep toe sandals, but they don't show much of my feet or toes.

I did wear sandals as a kid and even a teenager but haven't worn them in years. 9 years of ballet from 7 - 16 left me with weirdly shaped ring and pinky toes even though it was only a local dance school and as far from serious talent as could be. 😆
I wear all kinds of sneakers which I have an affinity for, including Puma, Veja, P448, adidas, etc. I wear those or loafers for work.

I do not wear sandals either. I need the support of a closed shoe. You are not alone. SAS is the only brand for my narrow, difficult feet.

I wear sandals year round in the house, either flips or Birkies.

I always like the shoes you wear.
Ever since I can remember we wore flip flops or thongs are both what we called them. And I do have some very pretty sandals too and all colors of flip flops. Some are especially for the pool-they don't slip.
While visiting a southern gift shop once, I saw a sign that said "Flip flops are the high heels of the south."
But even up north, we wore them a lot, having more flip flops than shoes.
Maybe it had something to do with being in the pool or ocean most of the time too.

I used to wear all kinds of sandals indoors and out until maybe 5 years ago. Now I feel more stable and secure in Skechers slip on. Less of a trip hazard.
I still wear flip flops and slides around the house. Feet are feet. We all have them. They all look similar to me.

I'm in Arizona and you would think I could wear sandals almost year round but about 4 years ago I stopped because they don't have enough support and make my feet and back hurt. I don't have ugly feet or toes either. But it didn't matter what brand I tried so I went to wearing sneakers and socks even in summer and it doesn't bother me at all.

After two hip replacements and having Peripheral Neuropathy. I have not had sandals on my feet in almost 4 years. I am afraid of my foot twisting and further injuring myself

I love sandals and feel that my feet are among my best features. I get a regular toe polish change and like platform supportive sandals.
I just came back from a European river cruise and it was unbelievably hot! I brought supportive walking sneakers but I also brought Ryka platform supportive sandals in black and beige. A632355 To me they were much cooler in the oppressive heat and still comfortable over cobblestone walkways.
Of course I could have worn a lightweight sundress but instead I wore wide leg linen blend pants. I like sundresses on other women...just not me.
Everyone is different with what makes them comfortable.

I don't wear sandals because I don't have pretty feet, I always felt self concious wearing them when I was younger and as I've gotten older my feet have gotten wider. I do wear flip flops around the house but that's about it.
