How to prevent corners fraying on my new Dooney bag.

I got a new Dooney tote with the fabric logo body. Does anyone think how I can preserve the corners before they start to fray (like Ive had happen with other dooney's)!. I thinking of clear nail polish but wanted to see I any of you smart ladies have any ideas.
