Oh my gosh, we were at a wedding yesterday and daugter #1 and I had this exact conversation.  We are both "boot lovers".  I tossed out a bunch last winter but I bought two new pairs of boots.  I never wore one pair, I ran out of winter...lol   I have the following.  My daughter has 12 pairs of boots in rotation and she hasn't bought a new pair in 3 years.

Tall black leather

Tall brown leather (bought last winter but never worn)

Maroon leather  mid calf

Black leather mid calf

Navy suede Ugg-like

Gray sude Ugg-like

Black suede ankle boots (bought last month)

Taudpe sude ankle boots (bought last month)

One pair tall snow boots - heavy snow

One pair short (mid calf) snow boots - heavy snow

2 pair black shooties

2 pair brown shooties

I think that is it.  I'd like a nice pair of grey shooties, but have not found any yet that I like.

Not wearing any boots yet, but probably will break out the shooties this week.

I have 7 pair of boots. They will have to wear out before I buy anymore.

Wow!!  I never counted but I probably have at least 25-30 pairs besides those listed below.

2 high boots

5 over the knee

4 snow/winter boots

The others are varying heights, colors, heel sizes.

I can't resist a good boot since I now can easily find wide widths.

2 pair; black snow boots, and brown boots to wear with jeans.   Not a boots fan.   Am retired, and do my best to avoid going out in bad weather, so I only wore the brown boots 1x last winter.

Haven't worn them since I quit riding the range 40 years ago.  My foot is tall on top (don't know what you call that) and anything but some cowboy boots are really hard to get on and not worth the effort.

I have one pair of snow boots because they are a necessity. Otherwise none as I don't care for boots.

Okay...this post had me actually taking inventory of my boots Smiley LOL and I just realized I have over 20 pair of boots.  Most are ankle/calf because I have wide calves and taller shaft wide calf boots were different to find. I know that there several brands that now offer wide calf boots. I have several pair of fur lined boots that I love but have scaled back because the weather never gets cold enough to wear them.
